Service Promise
If your computer was built after 1996 the chances are pretty good that it can be updated or upgraded to provide you with a faster and more reliable computer.
Some computers only require additional RAM memory while others might require a larger hard drive, additional RAM, and a faster CD ROM. Still others might require all those items and a graphics card.
During our initial conversation I will ask you what you want your computer to do. Be very specific. If you want more speed, say so. If your hard drive is running out of space, tell me. I also need to know if your computer no longer supports the newer games.
If you use your computer in an office or a home office then it is critical that it provides you with continuous service. A computer that is down often times stops all office functions, especially if it is the only computer in the office. Keep it running smoothly by having routine maintenance accomplished at regular intervals. By appointment only, I will update your computer drivers, defrag your hard drive, update your antivirus definitions (if you have an antivirus program), and have the computer back in your office within 24 hours.
You should update Windows 98, Windows 98 Second Edition, and Windows Millennium to Windows XP Home Edition or Windows XP Professional
Service Pack 2. Microsoft no longer provides updates for Windows 98, Windows
98SE, or Windows Millennium and will discontinue service for Windows XP Service
Pack 1 on October 10, 2006.
I promise to upgrade or update your computer as quickly as possible to minimize your downtime. I also promise to pick up and deliver your home or office computer at no charge if you live within a
15-mile drive of Grantville, Pennsylvania. If you live outside of that area (maximum of 40 miles) the charge is $15.
Mileage, of course, will be determined by the actual miles driven from Grantville to your home or office by the most direct route. |
